Newstracker - Searches the Web for articles several times each day, collecting articles which match the search criteria you have defined from over 300 Web-based newspapers and magazines. Periodicals scanned include the New England Journal of Medicine and the New Scientist.
Newspage - Similar to Newstracker, Newspage has a more health-oriented focus. Of the 600 information sources scanned daily, around 85 focus on health.
Reuters Health - A daily digest of health stories from around the world.
Medscape - The Medscape newsletterMedpulse tends to focus on key articles which have been published within the past week
Doctor's Guide - Concentrates more on health stories that have made the news

Karolinska Institute Library Enormous database of disease specific information and links. Highly recommended.
MEDLINE - Undoubtedly the world's premier biomedical database. Currently contains about 9 million bibliographic citations drawn from around 3800 biomedical journals. Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews - (CDSR) Probably the best single source of reliable evidence about the effects of healthcare. Concentrating on the results of controlled trials the reviews are highly structured and systematic.
EMBASE - Another comprehensive source of biomedical information, including more than 6.5 million records. Registration and small fee required.
BIOETHICSLINE - A database which helps identify current research, legal judgements and public opinion in matters relating to the ethics of biomedical research and healthcare.
CancerLit - A product of the National Cancer Institute this is a database of refences to published journal articles, conference proceedings, government reports and monographs that relate to cancer.
WISDOM - A resource for health professional seeking funding to support biomedical research.
